Hi, I'm Summer. I'm a data scientist and writer based in NYC.
Previously, I
- led special projects at a robotics startup.
- spent a year in China post-grad and self-studied mechanistic interpretability.
- researched COVID impact at the University of Toronto.
- advised non-profits on services for newcomers.
- almost became a quant.
Music is a big part of my life — I play piano and dabble in a few stringed instruments (ukulele, guitar, electric and double bass). My favourite artists are FKJ, Mk.gee, Dijon, Tom Misch, Frank Ocean. Apart from music, I enjoy books, calisthenics, and long walks.
I care about helping people grow into themselves. How might we design environments that spark curiosity and reward boldness?
